About the Garden...

Monday 10-12pm, Wednesday 10-12pm & Thursday 1-3pm
The Sustainability Learning Community Organic Garden was started in 2006 by a group of ANU students and staff. What started out as a modest project has now evolved into one tasty and exciting experience...And we're just getting started!The SLC Organic Garden employs the principles of organic gardening and permaculture and makes use of composting materials from the ANU campus. These are sourced from landscaping and garden materials and food scraps from campus cafes and residence halls.
The garden fosters a sense of community amongst participants and offers a creative and relaxing space on campus. It also provides opportunities for hands-on interdisciplinary educational experiences and acts as a living laboratory for student projects.
The SLC garden is located on the ANU campus next to the Canberra Environment Centre at the junction between Lawson Crescent and Lennox Crossing on Acton Peninsula, adjacent to the International Sculpture Park and near the National Museum. (Click here for a map. |

Excellent work Amelie....recognised a few of the slides of course but really enjoyed the balance of the SS and all of the material organised so well throughout the rest of it...
